2 salmon fillets
8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cups mashed potatoes (for serving)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp fresh thyme
Salt & black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Sear the Salmon & Shrimp:
Season salmon and shrimp with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear salmon for 3-4 mins per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Add shrimp to the same skillet and cook for 1-2 mins per side until pink. Remove and set aside.

Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add heavy cream, chicken broth, Dijon mustard, and thyme. Simmer for 3-4 mins until sauce thickens.

Combine & Serve:
Return salmon and shrimp to the skillet and spoon sauce over them.
Plate over creamy mashed potatoes and drizzle extra sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley.

Pro Tip:
Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to the sauce for a bright, tangy touch!
