Ingredients:
12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or your favorite shape)
1 lb ground beef
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup mustard
1/2 cup beef broth
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
Chopped fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the beef and onions: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onions and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
Add garlic and seasonings: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute.
Add the Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, beef broth, and diced tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer the mixture for 5-7 minutes to let the flavors combine.
Combine the pasta and beef: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the beef mixture and toss to combine everything well. Stir in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted and creamy.
Top with bacon: Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the top and gently stir to mix. Let the pasta cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until everything is heated through.
Serve: Garnish the Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta with chopped parsley or green onions if desired. Serve hot and enjoy the cheesy, bacon-packed goodness!
