Ingredients
* 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
* 2 smoked sausages, sliced
* 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
* 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
* 1 tbsp olive oil
* 1 tbsp butter
* 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
* 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 1/2 cup chicken broth
* 1/3 cup grated Parmesan
* 2 garlic cloves, minced
* Salt & pepper to taste
* Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Cook Pasta:
* Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Sear Sausage & Shrimp:
* In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook sausage slices until browned. Set aside.
* Add butter, shrimp, and half the Cajun seasoning. Cook 1–2 mins per side. Remove shrimp.
3. Make Sauce:
* In same pan, sauté garlic and peppers until soft (about 3 mins).
* Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, remaining Cajun seasoning, and Parmesan. Simmer until thickened.
4. Combine & Serve:
* Toss in pasta, sausage, and shrimp. Mix well to coat.
* Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
