Ingredients:

4 cups all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting

2 teaspoons yeast

3 tablespoons sugar

1¼ cups warm milk

¼ cup oil

2 eggs

½ teaspoon salt

For Brushing:

1 egg white + 2 tablespoons water (egg wash, before baking)

2 tablespoons melted butter (after baking)

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, mix yeast and sugar. Add warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes until it bubbles.

2. Stir in oil, salt, and eggs.

3. Gradually add flour, 1 cup at a time, and knead for 5–7 minutes until dough is smooth.

4. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

5. Divide dough into 16–24 pieces. Roll into balls and place in a greased baking pan.

6. Let rest for 30 minutes to rise again.

7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush dough with egg wash.

8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.

9. Brush with melted butter. Serve warm with soup, coffee, or tea.

Pizza Dough Recipe

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon yeast

1 teaspoon sugar

¾ cup warm water

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons oil

½ teaspoon salt

1. In a small bowl, mix yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and oil.

3. Mix until dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth.

4. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled.

5. Punch down dough. For thin crust, divide into 2 portions. For thick crust, use all dough.

6. Roll out dough on a floured surface to desired thickness.

7. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let rest for 15 minutes.

8. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).

9. Add toppings and bake on the bottom rack for 12–15 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

Donuts Dough Recipe

Ingredients:

1 pack rapid-rise yeast

¼ cup sugar

2 eggs

1 cup warm milk or water

½ teaspoon salt

½ cup softened butter

4½ cups flour

Oil for frying

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk or water, sugar, and yeast. Let rest for 5 minutes until foamy.

2. Add eggs, butter, salt, and flour. Mix until a soft dough forms. Knead until smooth.

3. Cover and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.

4. Divide dough into 2 parts. Roll out on floured surface to ¼ inch thick.

5. Cut into donuts using a donut cutter.

6. Heat 3 inches of oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).

7. Fry donuts until golden brown. Drain on paper towels or wire rack.

8. Roll in sugar, glaze, or cinnamon. Serve warm.
