Grilled Salmon with Avocado Tomato Salsa

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

For the Salmon:

4 salmon fillets

1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Avocado Tomato Salsa:

1 ripe avocado diced

1 cup cherry tomatoes halved

1/4 cup red onion finely chopped

1 small jalapeño finely chopped optional for spice

2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped

1 tbsp lime juice

Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare the Salmon:

Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil

Season with smoked paprika garlic powder salt and pepper

Grill the Salmon:

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat

Cook the salmon fillets skin side down for about 4 to 5 minutes

Flip carefully and cook another 3 to 4 minutes until salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork
Make the Salsa:

In a bowl gently combine diced avocado halved cherry tomatoes chopped red onion jalapeño cilantro lime juice salt and pepper

Assemble:

Plate the grilled salmon and spoon the fresh salsa over the top

Serve immediately for best flavor and texture
