Ingredients:
1 cup red and green bell peppers, sliced
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 lb Angus steak, cubed
2 tsp jerk seasoning
1 tsp Creole seasoning
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp oil
1/8 tsp honey
Cooked yellow rice
Directions:
Cook the Steak: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the cubed Angus steak with jerk seasoning, Creole seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Add the steak cubes to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.
Cook the Vegetables and Shrimp: In the same skillet, add butter and the sliced bell peppers. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the peppers begin to soften. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp turns pink and is fully cooked.
Make the Sauce: Pour in the chicken broth and add the honey. Stir to combine and allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes, letting the sauce thicken slightly.
Combine and Serve: Return the cooked steak cubes to the skillet and gently stir to mix with the shrimp and peppers. Allow everything to cook together for an additional minute until fully heated through. Serve the jerk steak and shrimp mixture over the cooked yellow rice.
