Ingredients:
4 white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or haddock)
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
Juice of 1 large lemon
1 tsp lemon zest
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:
Pat the fillets dry with paper towels, then season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Place the fish fillets in the skillet. Cook for 3–4 minutes on one side until golden brown.
Flip gently, then pour in lemon juice and sprinkle lemon zest. Cook the other side for 2–3 minutes until fish is flaky.
Spoon buttery sauce over the fillets as they finish cooking.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
