Ingredients:
Wet Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter
1½ cups granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
4 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Dry Ingredients:
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1½ cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp salt
½ tsp baking powder
Optional Add-In:
½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
Method:
Prep Your Pan:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving some overhang for easy lifting later.
Melt Butter & Add Sugars:
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, remove from heat and whisk in both the granulated and brown sugar until smooth and glossy. Let this mixture cool for about 5 minutes.
Mix In Eggs & Vanilla:
Whisk in the eggs one at a time, making sure each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla until silky.
Add the Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Gently fold the dry mixture into the wet batter just until no streaks of flour remain don’t overmix!
Optional – Add Chocolate Chips:
If using, fold in the chocolate chips for extra fudgy pockets of melted chocolate.
Bake:
Pour the brownie batter into your prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool & Slice:
Let brownies cool completely in the pan. Use the parchment overhang to lift them out, then slice into squares and enjoy the fudge-filled magic!
