Ingredients:
For the Burger Patties:
4 lbs ground beef
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs (optional – for extra binding)
2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
For Assembly:
3 large pizza crusts (store-bought or homemade)
1 ½ cups pizza sauce or ketchup-mustard mix (1 cup ketchup + ½ cup yellow mustard)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup dill pickle slices
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup cooked bacon bits or slices (optional)
1–2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
Lettuce for topping (optional – add after baking)
Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Make the Burger Patties:
In a large bowl, mix ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until just combined.
Divide mixture into 3 equal portions and shape them into large, flat rounds about the same size as your pizza crusts.
Cook each patty in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through (or bake them on parchment paper at 375°F/190°C for ~20 minutes).
3. Assemble the Stack:
Place 1 pizza crust on a large baking sheet.
Add a burger patty, spread some sauce, then sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
Add another pizza crust, repeat layers: patty, sauce, cheese, onions, pickles, bacon, tomato.
Finish with the third pizza crust on top, then final patty, sauce, cheese.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on the top crust (optional).
4. Bake the Stack:
Bake in the oven for about 10–15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbling and crust is slightly crispy.
5. Garnish & Serve:
Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice like a pizza.
Add shredded lettuce on top if desired.
