Directions:
1. Prepare the Noodles:
1.1. Boil the lo mein or egg noodles in salted water until tender but chewy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2. Sear the Steak:
2.1. Heat neutral oil in a skillet over high heat.
2.2. Add the sirloin steak cubes and sear until browned and juicy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
3. Cook the Shrimp and Carrots:
3.1. In the same pan, cook the shrimp and julienned carrots until shrimp turn pink and carrots are tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
4. Combine Ingredients:
4.1. Return the seared steak to the pan.
4.2. Add minced garlic and cooked noodles.
4.3. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and brown sugar.
4.4. Toss everything together until glossy and hot, about 2-3 minutes.
5. Garnish and Serve:
5.1. Top with chopped green onions and chili flakes if desired.
