Ingredients:

1/3 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup olive oil

1/3 cup fresh lemon juice

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce (optional for depth)

3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar (optional for a tangy note)

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard or prepared mustard (for a subtle kick)

2 tablespoons minced garlic

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey (optional for balance)

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

 

Instructions:

1. Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl or jar until well combined.

2. Pour over steak in a zip-top bag or shallow dish.

3. Marinate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight in the fridge.

4. Remove steak from marinade, pat dry for a better sear, then cook to desired doneness.
