1 lb mushrooms, sliced

6 cups fresh spinach

2 tablespoons olive oil

(Optional: 2 cloves garlic, minced; salt and pepper to taste)

1. Heat the Oil:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

2. Sauté the Mushrooms:
Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release their moisture and start to brown.

3. Add Garlic (Optional):
If using, stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Add the Spinach:
Add spinach in batches, stirring until wilted (about 2–3 minutes).

5. Season and Serve:
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm as a side dish or over rice, pasta, or toast.
