* 1 bunch of asparagus, woody ends trimmed
4 large carrots, peeled and sliced into sticks

* 2 tablespoons olive oil

* 2 cloves garlic, minced

* 1 teaspoon dried thyme

* Salt and pepper, to taste

* Optional: Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

Step 2: Prepare the Vegetables

1. Place the trimmed asparagus and carrot sticks on the prepared baking sheet.

2. Drizzle the olive oil over the vegetables.

3. Sprinkle with minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Toss the vegetables until evenly coated.

Step 3: Roast the Vegetables

1. Spread the vegetables out in a single layer on the baking sheet to ensure even cooking.
