Ingredients:
3 ripe peaches, peeled and chopped
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
4 cups cold water
Ice (for serving)
Optional: Fresh mint or peach slices for garnish
Instructions:
1. Make the Peach Syrup:
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the chopped peaches, sugar, and 1 cup of water. Simmer for about 10 minutes until the peaches are soft and the sugar is dissolved.
2. Blend & Strain:
Let the peach mixture cool slightly, then blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp (optional for a smoother texture).
3. Mix the Lemonade:
In a large pitcher, combine the peach syrup, lemon juice, and remaining 3 cups of cold water. Stir well. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as desired.
4. Chill & Serve:
Refrigerate until cold. Serve over ice with fresh peach slices or mint leaves if desired.
