Ingredients:

1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Oil for frying

Directions:

1. In a bowl, soak chicken pieces in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
2. In a separate bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
4. Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
5. Fry chicken in batches until golden brown and crispy.
6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
