Ingredients:

1 cup ketchup

1/2 cup white vinegar

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon hot sauce (like Frank’s or Crystal)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Optional: 1 tablespoon pineapple juice or orange juice for a fruity twist

Optional: 1 teaspoon smoked paprika or chili powder for a smoky kick

 

Instructions:

1. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients over medium heat.

2. Stir continuously until the sugar dissolves and the sauce begins to simmer.

3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.

4. Let it cool, then transfer to a jar or squeeze bottle.

5. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
