1 lb ground beef (makes 4 patties)
4 waffles (fresh or frozen, toasted)
4 slices cooked bacon
4 tbsp maple syrup
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional toppings: sliced cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles
Instructions:
1. Make the Patties:
Season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Divide into 4 equal portions and form into patties.
2. Cook the Patties:
Grill or pan-fry over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Add cheese in the last minute if using.
3. Cook the Bacon:
While burgers are cooking, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
4. Toast the Waffles:
Toast waffles until golden and crisp. You’ll use 2 waffles per burger (one top, one bottom).
5. Assemble the Burger:

Burger patty
Bacon strip(s)
Drizzle 1 tbsp maple syrup
Add other toppings if desired
Top waffle
6. Serve Immediately:
For extra flavor, serve with sweet potato fries or a fried egg on top.
