3 pounds chicken wings thawed (1360.8 grams)

Preheat your oven to 475 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on it and spray generously with cooking spray.
Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel. The wings need to be very dry in order for this recipe to work. Place the chicken in a gallon ziplock bag. Add the lemon pepper seasoning, baking powder, and salt. Toss to combine.

Place the chicken on the wire rack. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, turning the chicken over halfway during baking. If you need to crisp the chicken wings further, put them under the broiler for 6 minutes, watching closely so they do not burn. My oven cooks these perfectly and crisp without the broiling step.
While the wings are baking, melt together the butter and lemon pepper seasoning. After removing the wings from the oven, brush them with the sauce and enjoy!
