Ingredients:

– ½ head of cabbage
– ½ medium carrot
– 2 tbsp buttermilk
– 4¼ tsp white vinegar
– 1½ tbsp onion
– 2 tbsp whole milk
– ¼ cup mayonnaise
– 2 tsp lemon juice
– 4 tsp sugar
– ¼ tsp salt
– ⅜ tsp pepper

1. Finely shred the cabbage and carrot, then place in a large mixing bowl.

2. In a separate bowl, combine buttermilk, white vinegar, grated onion, whole milk, mayonnaise, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper.

3. Whisk the dressing mixture until smooth and fully combined.

4. Pour the dressing over the shredded cabbage and carrot.

5. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) for the best flavor and texture.
