Ingredients:
Chicken cutlets (about 4 pieces)
1/2 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
Oil, for frying (vegetable or canola)
Instructions:
1. Prep the Chicken:
Pat the chicken cutlets dry with paper towels.
In a shallow bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
2. Coat the Chicken:
Dredge each cutlet in the seasoned flour, pressing to coat both sides evenly.
Shake off any excess.
3. Fry:
Heat about 1/2 inch of oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Once hot, fry the cutlets for about 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
Transfer to a wire rack or paper towel–lined plate to drain.
4. Glaze with Hot Honey:
While still warm, drizzle the hot honey generously over the fried cutlets.
For extra flavor, brush the honey on both sides.
Hot Honey (Optional DIY):
Mix together:
1/2 cup honey
1–2 tsp hot sauce or a pinch of chili flakes
Warm slightly in the microwave or on the stovetop for easy drizzling.
