Ingredients:

• ¼ cup honey
• ¼ cup soy sauce
• 5 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 tbsp rice vinegar
• 1 tbsp cornstarch
• 3 tbsp water
• 1 tsp sesame oil
• ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

1. Combine & Heat:
In a small saucepan, stir together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Set over medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer.
2. Thicken the Sauce:
In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Stir the slurry into the simmering sauce.
3. Simmer:
Continue cooking for 3–4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
4. Serve or Store:
Brush over baked chicken wings, grilled salmon, roasted veggies—or cool and store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 1 week.

 

Pro Tip:
For an extra pop of flavor, sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped scallions just before serving.
