Ingredients:
4 pounds pork spareribs
½ cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup distilled white vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions:
1. Prep the Ribs:
Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs (if not already done).
Cut ribs into individual pieces or leave as a rack.
2. Make the Sauce:
In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and minced garlic until combined.
3. Bake the Ribs (1st round):
Place ribs meat-side down in a large baking dish or on a foil-lined baking sheet.
Brush with half of the sauce.
Cover tightly with foil and bake for 2 to 2.5 hours until tender.
4. Finish the Ribs (Caramelize):
Preheat your broiler (or grill).
Remove foil, flip ribs meat-side up, and brush with remaining sauce.
Broil for 5–8 minutes until the ribs are nicely caramelized and slightly sticky. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
5. Optional: Sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped green onions before serving.
