Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken wings
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet)
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup honey
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven or air fryer
Oven: 400°F (200°C)
Air Fryer: 375°F (190°C)
2. Season the wings
Pat wings dry. In a large bowl, toss them with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper until well coated.
3. Cook the wings
Oven: Place wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
Air Fryer: Arrange in a single layer. Cook 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
4. Make the sauce
While wings cook, mix the BBQ sauce and honey in a small bowl.
5. Toss & glaze
Once cooked, toss hot wings in the honey BBQ sauce until well coated.
6. Caramelize (optional but tasty)
Return coated wings to the oven or air fryer for 3–5 minutes to let the sauce caramelize and get sticky.
7. Garnish & serve
Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
