Ingredients:
12 Hawaiian slider rolls (left attached if possible, like a slab)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup butter, softened
2–3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional, for color & flavor)
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prepare the garlic butter:
In a bowl, mix softened butter with garlic, parsley, salt, and Parmesan if using.
3. Slice the rolls:
Without pulling the rolls apart, slice them horizontally as one whole slab (like a sandwich bun).
4. Spread the garlic butter:
Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on the cut sides (top and bottom halves) of the rolls.
5. Add cheese:
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the bottom half.
6. Assemble:
Place the top half of the rolls back on. Brush the tops with any remaining garlic butter.
7. Bake:
Wrap loosely in foil and bake for 12–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden. For extra crispiness, uncover for the last 3–5 minutes.
8. Serve:
Slice and enjoy warm!
