For the Grilled Chicken:

1½ lbs (700g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

2 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp lemon zest

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Creamy Dill Sauce:

½ cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream

2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional, for extra creaminess)

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried dill)

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1 clove garlic, finely grated or minced

Salt and pepper to taste

1. Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and coat well. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to overnight for best flavor).

2. Grill the Chicken
Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Grill chicken for 5–7 minutes per side (depending on thickness) until fully cooked and charred in spots.
Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

3. Make the Dill Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together yogurt, mayo (if using), lemon juice, dill, mustard, and garlic.
Season with salt and pepper. Chill until ready to serve.

4. Serve
Slice grilled chicken and serve with a generous dollop of dill sauce on top or on the side.
Garnish with extra dill or lemon wedges if desired.
