4 garlic cloves, smashed
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 bone-in ribeye steaks
4 large russet potatoes,

How to Make It:

1. Mashed Potatoes:

Boil the peeled, cubed potatoes in salted water until tender (about 15-20 minutes).

Drain and mash with butter, cream or milk, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.

2. Ribeye Steaks:

Pat the steaks dry and season generously with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat.

Add smashed garlic cloves to the oil to infuse flavor.

Sear ribeyes 3-4 minutes per side (for medium-rare; adjust time for your preferred doneness).

Add butter to the pan near the end and baste steaks with garlic butter for that rich flavor.

3. Serve:

Plate the ribeyes with a generous scoop of creamy mashed potatoes.

Pour any garlic butter from the pan over the steak.
