1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)
1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon honey or a pinch of sugar (optional, to balance acidity)
Instructions:
1. In a jar or bowl, combine vinegar, lemon juice, mustard, garlic, and all seasonings.
2. Slowly whisk in the olive oil (or shake everything in a sealed jar).
3. Taste and adjust seasoning—add more honey if it’s too tangy, or more salt if it’s flat.
4. Store in the fridge for up to a week. Shake well before each use.
