For the Pie Crust (or use store-bought):

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar

1 cup (2 sticks) cold butter, cubed

6–8 tbsp ice water

For the Filling:

1/2 lb ground beef

1/2 lb Italian sausage (casing removed)

1/2 cup diced onion

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Optional Topping:

Extra pepperoni slices

Crushed red pepper flakes

Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)

1. Make the Pie Crust:

In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar.

Cut in the butter until crumbly.

Gradually add ice water until dough comes together.

Divide into 2 discs (for top and bottom crust), wrap, and chill for 30 minutes.

2. Prepare the Filling:

In a skillet, cook ground beef, sausage, and onion until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add garlic, pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer 3–4 minutes.

Let cool slightly.

3. Assemble the Pie:

Roll out one crust and press into a deep pie dish.

Add half of the meat mixture.

Layer with half the pepperoni, mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan.

Repeat layers (meat, pepperoni, cheese).

Top with remaining crust. Seal edges and cut slits for steam.

4. Bake:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Bake for 40–50 minutes until crust is golden and filling is bubbly.

Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.

5. Optional Garnish:

Top with fresh basil or parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan.
