Ingredients:

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium if preferred)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon cornstarch (for coating)

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 egg, beaten

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Vegetable oil (for frying)

Optional Garnish:

Sesame seeds

Sliced green onions

1. Prep the Chicken:
In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, and pepper. Dip each chicken piece in the beaten egg, then coat in the flour mixture.

2. Fry the Chicken:
Heat about 1 inch of oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken pieces in batches until golden and crispy, about 4–5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

3. Make the Sauce:
In a separate pan, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently. Let it cook for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

4. Coat the Chicken:
Add the fried chicken to the sauce and toss to coat evenly. Let it simmer for 1–2 more minutes so the sauce sticks well.

5. Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired. Serve hot with steamed rice or stir-fried vegetables.
