Ingredients:

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups chicken broth

1 cup milk

8 oz uncooked pasta (penne or rotini work well)

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

½ teaspoon paprika (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

 

Instructions:

1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

2. Add kielbasa and cook until browned, about 4–5 minutes. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, sauté onion until soft, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 minute more.

4. Add chicken broth, milk, and pasta to the skillet. Stir and bring to a boil.

5. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10–12 minutes, or until pasta is cooked and liquid is mostly absorbed.

6. Return kielbasa to the skillet. Stir in shredded cheese and paprika.

7. Mix until cheese is melted and everything is creamy.

8. Season with salt and pepper.

9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot!
