Ingredients:

– 1 lb (450g) ground beef
– 1 small onion, chopped
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
– 1 cup bacon bits (cooked and crispy)
– 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
– 1 cup beef broth
– 4 cups frozen tater tots
– 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Optional toppings: pickles, diced tomatoes, and lettuce

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a large skillet, over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth until well combined.
5. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer half of the frozen tater tots, followed by the beef mixture, and top with half of the shredded cheddar cheese and bacon bits.
6. Layer the remaining tater tots on top, followed by the rest of the cheese and bacon.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the tater tots are golden brown.
8. Remove from oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with optional toppings if desired.
