Ingredients:
18–24 large fresh strawberries
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sour cream
2/3 cup granulated white sugar
Optional Garnishes:
Graham cracker crumbs
Chocolate shavings or mini chips
Crushed nuts
Mint leaves
Instructions:
1. Prep the Strawberries:
Rinse and dry strawberries.
Slice off the green stem end so each berry can stand upright.
Cut an “X” on the pointed end of each strawberry, going about ¾ of the way down (don’t cut all the way through).
Gently open the berries a little to make room for the filling.
2. Make the Cheesecake Filling:
In a large bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sour cream, and sugar until smooth and creamy.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
3. Fill the Strawberries:
Spoon the filling into a piping bag fitted with a star tip (or use a zip-top bag with the corner snipped).
Pipe the cheesecake mixture into the center of each strawberry, filling the “X” cuts beautifully.
4. Add Toppings (Optional):
Sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs or your preferred toppings.
5. Chill & Serve:
Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes before serving for best flavor and texture.
