Ingredients:
1 small cabbage, chopped
1 lb ground beef
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes (with juice)
1 small onion, chopped (optional but adds flavor)
2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil (if needed)
Instructions:
1. Brown the Ground Beef
In a large skillet or pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until fully browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
2. Sauté Aromatics (Optional but recommended)
If using onion and garlic, add them to the skillet and cook until soft (about 2-3 minutes).
3. Add Cabbage
Stir in the chopped cabbage. Cook for about 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage starts to soften.
4. Add Tomatoes and Seasoning
Pour in the can of diced tomatoes (with the juice). Add paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
5. Simmer
Cover and simmer for about 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and the flavors are well combined.
6. Taste and Adjust
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot!
