1½ lbs lean ground beef
6 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
1½ cups shredded Colby Jack cheese
1 cup diced Roma tomatoes
Optional Big Mac Sauce (recommended):
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp relish or finely chopped pickles
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp vinegar
Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook the beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Drain excess grease if needed.
2. Prepare the sauce (if using):
In a small bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients. Adjust to your taste.
3. Assemble (two ways):
A. Big Mac Skillet:
Layer cooked beef in a large serving dish or keep in the skillet.
Top with shredded lettuce, cheese, and diced tomatoes.
Drizzle with Big Mac-style sauce.
Serve warm.
B. Big Mac Salad:
In a large bowl, combine lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and ground beef.
Toss with the dressing or serve it on the side.
Great for a low-carb meal.
