Ingredients:

1 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon sugar

1/2 tablespoon paprika (preferably smoked for depth)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1–2 teaspoons rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar (optional, for tang)

1–2 tablespoons water (to thin it slightly, optional)

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, sugar, and paprika until smooth.

2. Stir in garlic powder and vinegar if using. Add a bit of water for your desired consistency.

3. Taste and adjust: more sugar for sweetness, more vinegar for tang.

4. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes for the flavors to develop.
