Ingredients
2 lbs chicken wings
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 cup barbecue sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
1. Prep the wings – Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels, then season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
2. Bake or grill –
Baking: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss wings with olive oil and arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
Grilling: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Oil grates lightly and grill wings for about 20–25 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and cooked through.
3. Make the sauce – In a small bowl, mix barbecue sauce, honey, and apple cider vinegar.
4. Coat the wings – Toss the cooked wings in the sauce until evenly coated.
5. Optional caramelization – Return wings to the oven or grill for 5 minutes to let the sauce get sticky and slightly charred.
6. Serve hot – Pair with ranch, blue cheese dip, or fresh veggies.
