Ingredients
1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
1. Prep the Steak & Shrimp – Pat both steak and shrimp dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt, pepper, and paprika (if using).
2. Sear the Steak Bites – Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer (don’t overcrowd) and sear 2–3 minutes per side until browned to your liking. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. Cook the Shrimp – In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons butter and garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds, then add shrimp. Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
4. Combine & Coat – Return steak bites to the skillet. Toss everything together in the garlic butter for 1–2 minutes to heat through and coat well.
5. Serve – Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges. Perfect over rice, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread to soak up the buttery goodness.
