Slow Cooker Mississippi Ribeye Steaks

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

2–3 lbs ribeye steaks

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

1 packet au jus gravy mix

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

6–8 pepperoncini peppers (whole or sliced)

Optional: 1–2 tablespoons pepperoncini juice (for more tang)

Salt & pepper, to taste (go easy – seasoning mixes already have salt)

1. Prep the steaks
Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper on both sides.

2. Layer in slow cooker
Place the ribeye steaks in the bottom of the slow cooker.

3. Add seasoning
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and au jus mix evenly over the meat.

4. Add butter & pepperoncini
Place the butter on top (cut into chunks), then add the pepperoncini peppers and optional juice.

5. Cook

Low for 6–8 hours, or

High for 3.5–4.5 hours
(Until steaks are fork-tender and flavorful)

6. Serve
Shred the meat if you prefer, or serve steaks whole with the juices spooned over top. Pairs perfectly with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.
