Ingredients:
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 lb smoked sausage, sliced
2 cups broccoli florets
3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional, for added flavor)
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Green onions, chopped for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 15–20 minutes until crispy and tender.
In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil (if using). Set aside.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook for 5–6 minutes until browned and crispy. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Pour the honey garlic sauce into the skillet and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened. Return the sausage and shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat.
Add the roasted broccoli to the skillet and mix everything together.
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
