Ingredients:
4 trout fillets
4 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, juiced and zested
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1. Prep the Trout:
Pat the trout fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Make Garlic Lemon Butter:
In a small saucepan or skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, zest, and chopped parsley. Remove from heat.
3. Cook the Trout:
Heat a large non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the surface if needed.
Place trout fillets skin-side down. Cook for 3–4 minutes, then flip and cook another 2–3 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
4. Serve:
Spoon the garlic lemon butter over the cooked trout. Garnish with extra parsley or lemon wedges if desired.
