Ingredients:
1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled
1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk (adjust to taste)
6 cups cold water
For Serving:
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced
Ice cubes
Instructions:
1. Blend:
In a blender, combine the hulled strawberries, evaporated milk, condensed milk, and 3 cups of water. Blend until completely smooth.
2. Strain (optional):
For a smoother drink, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds and pulp.
3. Dilute & Chill:
Pour the strained mixture into a large pitcher. Add the remaining 3 cups of cold water and stir well. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more condensed milk or a bit of sugar.
4. Serve:
Fill glasses with ice cubes and a spoonful of diced strawberries. Pour the creamy agua fresca over the top.
5. Enjoy cold!
Best served immediately or kept chilled in the fridge for up to 2 days.
