Homemade Pizza Dough (Crisp Outside, Soft Inside)

Ingredients:

2¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)

1½ cups warm water (110°F / 45°C)

1 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp olive oil

3½ cups all-purpose flour

1½ tsp salt

1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.

2. Add olive oil, flour, and salt. Mix into a dough.

3. Knead 8–10 minutes until smooth.

4. Place in greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour (or until doubled).

5. Punch down, divide, shape, add toppings, and bake at 475°F (245°C) for 10–15 minutes.

Homemade Fluffy Doughnuts (Fried, Yeast-Raised)

Ingredients:

2¼ tsp active dry yeast

½ cup warm water (110°F)

½ cup warm milk

¼ cup granulated sugar

¼ cup butter, melted

1 tsp salt

1 egg

3½ cups all-purpose flour

Oil for frying

Instructions:

1. Dissolve yeast in warm water with 1 tbsp sugar. Let it foam.

2. Add milk, sugar, butter, egg, salt, and 2 cups flour. Mix well.

3. Gradually add more flour until a soft dough forms.

4. Knead 6–8 minutes. Let rise in a greased bowl for 1 hour.

5. Roll out dough to ½ inch thick. Cut out doughnuts.

6. Let rise again for 30–45 minutes.

7. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry until golden brown (about 1 min each side).

8. Drain and coat with sugar, glaze, or cinnamon sugar.

Homemade Soft Dinner Rolls

Ingredients:

1 cup warm milk (110°F)

2¼ tsp active dry yeast

¼ cup sugar

¼ cup butter, melted

1 egg

3½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1. Combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit 5–10 minutes.

2. Add butter, egg, salt, and flour. Mix to form soft dough.

3. Knead 8–10 minutes. Place in greased bowl and rise 1 hour.

4. Divide into 12–15 balls, place in greased pan.

5. Cover and let rise another 30–45 minutes.

6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–18 minutes, or until golden.

7. Brush with melted butter after baking.
