Follow the package directions to make the banana pudding, then let it set until thick and firm.
In a large saucepan, gently melt the butter over medium heat.
Stir in 5 cups of mini marshmallows and continue stirring until fully melted and smooth.
Stir in the vanilla extract and prepared banana pudding, mixing until the pudding is fully incorporated. Remove the pan from the heat.
Fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, the remaining 1 ½ cups of marshmallows, and the crushed vanilla wafers. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
Pour the mixture into a parchment-lined baking dish. Press gently to form an even layer without compacting the treats.
Spread a light layer of marshmallow fluff and sprinkle with extra crushed vanilla wafers on top.
Melt white chocolate in the microwave, stirring until smooth. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of the treats.
Allow the Rice Krispie treats to cool and set before slicing into squares and serving.
