Ingredients:

– 1 lobster tail (about 6 oz), shell split and meat removed
– 1/2 lb (225 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 8 oz penne pasta
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 3 tablespoons butter, divided
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 small onion, finely chopped
– 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
– 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
– Salt and black pepper to taste

1. Cook penne pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Season shrimp and lobster meat with 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
3. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat. Sear the shrimp and lobster meat for 2–3 minutes per side, or until just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter. Sauté the onion and garlic until soft and fragrant, about 2–3 minutes.
5. Stir in the remaining Cajun seasoning, then pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
6. Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook, stirring, until the sauce thickens, about 3–4 minutes.
7. Return the cooked pasta, shrimp, and lobster to the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the sauce.
8. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan if desired. Serve hot.
