Ingredients
For the Biscuits:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp paprika (optional, for color and slight spice)
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
¾ cup whole milk (or buttermilk for richer flavor)
⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Garlic Butter Topping:
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried parsley (or 1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley)
Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Preheat Oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Make the Dough
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, salt, and paprika.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
Add milk and melted butter. Mix just until combined — don’t overmix.
3. Scoop & Bake
Drop heaping spoonfuls (or use a large cookie scoop) of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
4. Make the Garlic Butter
While biscuits bake, mix melted butter with garlic powder, parsley, and salt.
5. Brush & Serve
As soon as the biscuits come out of the oven, brush the tops with the garlic butter mixture.
Serve warm!
