For the Biscuits:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tbsp sugar

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp salt

½ tsp paprika (optional, for color and slight spice)

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

¾ cup whole milk (or buttermilk for richer flavor)

⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Garlic Butter Topping:

2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

½ tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried parsley (or 1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley)

Pinch of salt

1. Preheat Oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Make the Dough
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, salt, and paprika.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
Add milk and melted butter. Mix just until combined — don’t overmix.

3. Scoop & Bake
Drop heaping spoonfuls (or use a large cookie scoop) of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.

4. Make the Garlic Butter
While biscuits bake, mix melted butter with garlic powder, parsley, and salt.

5. Brush & Serve
As soon as the biscuits come out of the oven, brush the tops with the garlic butter mixture.
Serve warm!
