1. Sauté the Veggies
In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil over medium heat.
Add the chopped onions and bell peppers and cook until softened (about 5 minutes). Remove and set aside.

2. Brown the Meats
In the same pan, add 1 tbsp oil, then cook the hamburger meat and sausage together until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess grease if necessary.

3. Cook the Shrimp
In a separate skillet, heat the last 1 tbsp of oil. Season shrimp with seafood seasoning, and cook until pink and curled (2–3 minutes per side). Set aside.

4. Combine Everything
Return the sautéed veggies to the pan with the meats. Stir in the cooked rice and broth. Let everything simmer together on low heat for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liquid is absorbed and flavors are blended.

5. Stack & Serve
Scoop the dirty rice into bowls or plates, then stack the shrimp right on top for that bold, layered look and taste! Garnish with chopped green onions or a squeeze of lemon if desired.
