Ingredients:
2 lbs pork spare ribs, cut into individual ribs
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1 small red chili, sliced (optional)
Green onions, chopped for garnish
Directions:
In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, rice vinegar, salt, black pepper, white pepper, and cornstarch. Add the spare ribs and toss to coat evenly. Let the ribs marinate for 20-30 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated ribs in batches, frying until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and chili (if using), cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Return the fried ribs to the skillet and toss them in the garlic and chili mixture for an additional 2-3 minutes to coat.
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot. These crispy, flavorful ribs are perfect with rice!
