For the Fries:

• 1 pound frozen French fries (straight-cut recommended)

• 2 tablespoons paprika

• 1 teaspoon chili powder

• 1 teaspoon garlic powder

• 1 teaspoon onion powder

• 1 teaspoon salt

• 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

• 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)

For the Nacho Cheese Sauce:

• 1 cup Cheez Whiz cheese dip

• 1/2 cup whole milk

• 5 teaspoons brine from bottled sliced jalapeño peppers

• 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

1. Prepare the Seasoning Blend:

◦ In a small bowl, combine paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix well and set aside.

2. Cook the Fries:

◦ Follow the instructions on the package to cook the frozen French fries. For the best results, deep-fry them at 375°F (190°C) for 3 to 5 minutes until golden and crispy. Alternatively, you can bake them according to the package directions.

3. Season the Fries:

◦ Once the fries are cooked, place them in a large bowl. Sprinkle the prepared seasoning blend over the fries and toss to ensure even coating.

4. Prepare the Nacho Cheese Sauce:

◦ In a small saucepan over low heat, combine Cheez Whiz, whole milk, jalapeño brine, and ground cayenne pepper.

◦ Whisk continuously until the mixture is smooth and heated through.

5. Serve:

◦ Arrange the seasoned fries on a serving platter.

◦ Serve immediately with the warm nacho cheese sauce on the side for dipping.
