For the Marinade:
– 1 ½ lbs flank or skirt steak, thinly sliced
– 3 tablespoons olive oil
– Juice of 2 limes
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon ground cumin
– 1 teaspoon chili powder
– ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
– Salt and pepper to taste
For the Fajitas:
– 1 red bell pepper, sliced
– 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
– 1 green bell pepper, sliced
– 1 large onion, sliced
– 4 small flour tortillas
– Optional toppings: avocado, sour cream, salsa, shredded cheese, cilantro
Instructions:
1. Marinate steak: Combine marinade ingredients and refrigerate for 30 minutes or overnight.
2. Cook steak: Grill or pan-fry steak until cooked to desired doneness.
3. Sauté peppers and onions: Cook until tender.
4. Assemble fajitas: Serve steak with peppers and onions, warm tortillas, and desired toppings.
