Ingredients You’ll Need
For the Ribs:
2 lbs pork ribs (baby back or St. Louis style)
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
For the Honey Garlic Glaze:
⅓ cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce (or tamari for GF)
3 garlic cloves, minced (or 1 tbsp garlic paste)
1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
1 tsp sriracha (optional for heat)
1 tbsp butter (for shine & richness)
(Garnish: sesame seeds & green onions)
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prep the Ribs
Remove membrane (key for tender ribs!) – Slide a knife under the membrane on the bone side, then pull it off with a paper towel.
Pat dry – Helps the rub stick better.
2. Season & Slow Cook
Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt & pepper. Rub all over ribs.
Wrap in foil – Place ribs meat-side down on foil, then wrap tightly into a packet.
Bake at 275°F (135°C) for 2.5-3 hours (until fork-tender).
3. Make the Glaze
While ribs cook:
Simmer honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and sriracha for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Stir in butter until melted.
4. Glaze & Caramelize
Unwrap ribs – Drain any juices, then brush with glaze.
Broil 3-5 minutes until bubbly and sticky (watch closely!)
